Mission of Scholarship Committee
To provide educational funding assistance to individuals with progressive ideas for the future of Ka'u to be determined by an essay competition.
Essay Subject
What you envision as your role in the future of Ka'u.
Prizes
First place winner will receive: (1) A $1000.00 award check; (2) An invitation to read winning essay at Chamber General Meeting; (3) Publication in the 2010 Directory and on the Chamber website.
Second and third place winners will receive a $500.00 Scholarship each, and will be published on the Chamber website.
